Boosting Catalonia’s bioeconomy
Description
BioBoost is a project funded by the Horizon Europe research program of the European Union, aimed at accelerating the implementation of bioeconomy projects in the Catalonia region. Its goal is to mobilize and catalyze €30 million in investments for these small and medium-sized projects. The sectors involved include primary production sectors that use and produce biological resources, as well as all economic and industrial sectors that utilize biological resources and processes to produce food, feed, bio-based products, energy, and services.
Services
BioBoost provides support services for the development of bioeconomy and technological innovation projects to catalyze growth based on:
- Technical services.
- Business and financing services.
- Legal and administrative services.
- Facilitation, mapping impact and circular economy services.
These services are provided by a multidisciplinary consortium composed of four Catalan companies: Inveniam Group, RocaJunyent, Aeris Tecnologies Ambientals, and us, SÍMBIOSY.
