Description
The City Council of Granollers, through its economic development area, promotes and implements the industrial symbiosis project in collaboration with other local stakeholders. With dedicated technical staff (and assistance from external experts), the project offers a wide range of services to companies in various industrial parks, including technical audits for resource efficiency, identification and implementation of synergies among different actors, a materials exchange platform (Grid Granollers), collective surplus resource management events, and more. Granollers Enters Symbiosis is the National Winner of the European Enterprise Promotion Award 2020 in the category of support for the development of green markets and resource efficiency.
