REDÓ is an innovative circular construction initiative focused on rehabilitation projects. It incorporates actions that promote recycling, waste minimization, and reuse in renovation works, while also enhancing social inclusion.
REDÓ is an initiative by the public utility association SaóPrat and the architecture firm LaBoquería, in collaboration with Símbiosy. It originated from the advisory services that the Viladecans City Council provides to local businesses. The idea was born to expand SaóPrat’s renovation services to include circular construction.
The development, business plan, and implementation of this idea resulted in the creation of this project, which, among other things, now includes a warehouse for construction materials recovered from renovation works.
