On June 6th, the business association Coparmex Chihuahua and the State Government introduced “Chihuahua Green,” a public-private initiative leading companies in Chihuahua towards a circular economy and industrial symbiosis, implemented by SÍMBIOSY.

It is a comprehensive industrial symbiosis program aimed at impacting over 100,000 companies across the state, through its facilitation offices: Poniente 2050, Juárez Circular Hub, and Chihuahua Green City.
CHIHUAHUA GREEN offers tools and services such as “Chihuahua Eco-Market“, a platform for buying and selling waste between companies for reuse; the Training and Education Module; the Carbon Emissions Calculator; and the OASIS company certification, which recognizes businesses that enhance competitiveness through sustainable practices.
Also counts with out digital platform SYNER (www.synerplatform.com) automatically detects synergies and potential business opportunities between companies based on their surplus resources. Additionally, there is SYMTRACK (by Workdeck), software for tracking and managing industrial symbiosis projects.
